I obtained my massage license at the age of 19, in 2005, after graduating from Healing Handz Massage Academy in Bryan, TX. I worked as a therapist on my own and with colleagues for two years before becoming a chiropractic assistant at Walker Chiropractic. After that time, I let my license expire and acquired an Associates degree in English and Humanities from Blinn College.
I have a love for reading and writing, art, and learning in general. I also have a love for helping people, and an ability to tune into others. I feel that my creative side and my love for learning help me to be a better therapist.
It was after the birth of my first child, and the postpartum depression that I experienced, that Craniosacral therapy was recommended to me. I tried it, and it helped me so much that I wished I could do that for others. I obtained my license for the second time in November of 2015. I am thrilled that I have an opportunity to help others through various modalities of massage therapy, and I plan to pursue a Craniosacral certification within the next year.
